Hastings Hotels Group is seeking a part-time Maintenance Assistant for Ballygally Castle in Northern Ireland. You will perform routine and remedial maintenance on equipment and utilities, manage stock records, and help sustain a safe, compliant environment to ensure guest satisfaction.

The role is 21 hours per week across three days, with typical shifts 8am–4pm or 9am–5pm, and offers staff meals, employee discounts, and generous holiday entitlement pro rata.

Responsabilidades

• To help ensure spares and parts stock and records are maintained.
• To maintain emergency equipment in working order and ensure procedures are followed.
• To help maintain a safe environment in compliance with health, safety and security policies.
• To support effective communication with other hotel departments and guests.
• Any other duties as required by management.

Maintenance Assistant at the exclusive Ballygally Castle

Under the inspiring leadership of our General Manager, Scott Weatherup, you will have the opportunity to work with our friendly team, develop your skills and enjoy the variety offered by a role in hospitality.

The successful candidate can expect to work 21 hours per week (excluding breaks), three days out seven including weekends. Typical shift patterns include 8am to 4pm, 9am to 5pm.

The salary for this part-time position is £14,086.80per annum

About the role

• To assist with routine and remedial work to ensure equipment and utilities are maintained as appropriate.
• To assist with ensuring adequate and appropriate spares and parts stock and records are maintained.
• To assist in ensuring all emergency equipment is maintained in working order and procedures are effective and implemented, and appropriate training is carried out.
• To assist with the maintenance of a safe environment in compliance with health, safety, fire, hygiene and security legislation and company polices and procedures.
• To assist with the maintenance of effective communication and relationships with other hotel departments, suppliers and agencies to maintain an effective operation and ensure guest satisfaction.
• To assist in promoting and encouraging a harmonious working environment where all staff are treated with respect and dignity.
• Any other duties as required by management.
