Job summary

Edyn is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Assistant to join our Whitworth Locke property in Manchester. The role covers routine maintenance in guest rooms and public spaces, with repairs to electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, and proactive guest/service support.

You will work independently and as part of a team, ensuring safety standards and smooth facility operations across Edyn’s design-led hospitality group.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a hotel or similar environment.
• Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance.
• Relevant technical qualifications or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine maintenance tasks in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
• Conducting electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs as needed.
• Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment and systems to identify issues.
• Responding promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assisting with renovation projects and room setups.
