Job summary

Locke in Manchester is hiring a Hotel Maintenance Assistant to join our Whitworth Locke property. This full-time role (40 hours) offers a salary of £27,000–£28,000 and the chance to contribute across guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house facilities.

You will perform routine maintenance, repair electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems, inspect equipment and systems, respond promptly to requests from guests and staff, and help with renovation projects while ensuring health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a hotel or similar environment.
• Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance.
• Relevant technical qualifications or certifications.
