Job summary

Motel One Germany BetriebsGmbH in Lewes is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to inspect the premises daily, identify defects and carry out repairs and renovations.

The role involves monitoring equipment, lifts and technical facilities, keeping outdoor areas clean, and coordinating with external maintenance teams. You will work in a multicultural team and have access to onboarding, annual trainings and opportunities across our European hotels.

Qualifications

• Completed a technical apprenticeship and/or have professional experience of one or more trades/building maintenance
• Be open and communicative, pay attention to detail and be interested in technology
• Be flexible and creative and have an excellent sense of quality, even in stressful situations
• Be a team player and willing to provide assistance across departments – we achieve our results together

• Monitoring the seamless functionality of equipment, lifts and technical facilities in the hotel
• Ensuring that all outdoor areas are cleaned and maintained
• Communicating, liaising and cooperating with external companies, in particular checking any maintenance work
• Gaining interdepartmental insights into new areas of activity by working in our multicultural teams
