Job summary

London Hilton on Park Lane is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help maintain the hotel’s safety and functionality while delivering memorable guest experiences.

You’ll support facility maintenance across guest rooms, public spaces and heart-of-house areas, manage stores and inventory, respond to service requests, and assist with preventive maintenance inspections and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support hotel facility maintenance: assist in maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the property, including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areas
• Manage stores and inventory effectively to ensure tools, materials and critical spares are available when required
• Respond to service requests: quickly handle guest calls and team member work orders
• Support a variety of maintenance tasks: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and masonry
• Assist with preventive maintenance inspections: inspect facilities and equipment to identify needs
• Document maintenance activities: record inspections and repairs and flag issues

Here is what you’ll do during a typical day:

• Manage stores and inventory effectively to ensure tools, materials and critical spares are available when required, reducing downtime and maximising team efficiency

• Respond to service requests: Quickly handle guest calls and team member work orders

• Support a variety of maintenance tasks: Conduct repairs and maintenance across various areas, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and masonry

• Assist with preventive maintenance inspections: Inspect facilities and equipment to identify and address preventive maintenance needs

• Document maintenance activities: Record completed inspections and repairs and flag any issues requiring further attention
