Job summary

London Hilton on Park Lane is seeking a Security Team Leader to safeguard guests, team members and the property. You will lead and develop the security team, coordinate emergency responses and ensure high standards of safety across the hotel.

This role involves weekend shifts and covering for the Security Manager during absences, within a dynamic hospitality environment. You will be responsible for patrols, incident investigations, and promoting safety best practices while delivering Hilton's

Responsibilities

• Conduct security patrols: monitor interior and exterior hotel premises to identify safety risks and address them
• Support emergency responses: coordinate responses to incidents such as fires, medical emergencies and security threats
• Supervise and develop the team: train, schedule and supervise Security Guards/Officers
• Investigate incidents: gather information, document findings and ensure accurate reporting
• Promote workplace safety: ensure adherence to safety protocols among team members
• Provide security cover on Saturdays and Sundays with flexible weekday shifts
• Cover the Security Manager during annual leave and days off to ensure continuity of security operations

Responsibilities

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

• Conduct security patrols: Monitor interior and exterior hotel premises to identify and address safety and security risks, security threats, and undesirable conditions
• Support emergency responses: Coordinate responses to incidents such as fires, medical emergencies, and security threats
• Supervise and develop the team: Train, schedule, and supervise Security Guards/Officers, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance
• Investigate incidents: Conduct preliminary incident investigations to gather relevant information, document findings, and ensure accurate reporting of security incidents
• Promote workplace safety: Encourage adherence to safety protocols and best practices among team members
• Provide security back up: Step in to fulfill security officer responsibilities as required
• Provide security cover on Saturdays and Sundays, with flexible weekday shifts primarily supporting the crossover between day and night teams.
• Cover the Security Manager Monday to Friday during annual leave and scheduled days off, ensuring continuity of security operations.
