An established industry player is seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to ensure the smooth operation of their facility. We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant for our Head Office in Erith.
The Role.
Responsible for maintenance activities within the facility, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all equipment, systems, and infrastructure. This is a solo role that requires an individual with a comprehensive, all-around knowledge of maintenance, capable of handling various tasks independently. You will be responsible for both preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, ensuring that all facilities meet safety and regulatory standards. You will also be expected to manage inventory, liaise with external contractors, and maintain accurate records of all maintenance work.
This role requires a hands-on, skilled individual who is capable of completing all aspects of maintenance independently, ensuring that the facility operates at optimal performance at all times.
Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 7.30 am to 5.00 pm.
Key Responsibilities
Education/Qualifications/Experience: At least two years of hands-on experience in maintenance.
Technical Skills: A strong understanding of general maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting) and the ability to manage preventive maintenance schedules.
Health & Safety Certification: Knowledge of safety regulations and certification in health and safety practices is important for ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
