Job summary

NHS Ayrshire & Arran is seeking a Maintenance Assistant in the Estates Department based at University Hospital Ayr. The role is permanent, 36 hours per week, with a pattern: Monday to Wednesday 8.00am to 4.30pm; Thursday 08.00am to 3.30pm; Friday 8.00am to 1.00pm.

A UK driving licence is essential. You will support a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks and cover community properties within the South Sector.

Qualifications

  • Previous working experience of undertaking maintenance work within a hospital environment would be an advantage.

  • Reporting to the Building Supervisor you will be part of a team responsible for supporting the delivery of a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance activities including minor repair work.
  • Based at University Hospital Ayr, you will also cover all community based properties within the South Sector.
  • You should be able to demonstrate versatility and experience on a range of maintenance work task schedules in addition to being an effective team member.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Assistant within Estates Department based at University Hospital Ayr

Hours And Shift Pattern

36 hours per week:

Monday to Wednesday 8.00am to 4.30 pm

Thursday 08.00am to 3.30pm

Friday 8.00am to 1.00pm
