Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an IBM z/OS Integration Consultant for its UK team. The role focuses on designing, configuring and supporting enterprise integrations that connect distributed applications with core banking services on IBM z/OS.

You will leverage IBM MQ, CICS, DB2, and API-enabled services in a global engineering setting. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with z/OS, REST APIs and API management, plus strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Qualifications

Strong experience developing or supporting applications on IBM z/OS.
Good understanding of CICS, DB2 and COBOL.
Hands-on experience with IBM MQ messaging
Knowledge of REST APIs, enterprise integration and z/OS Connect EE.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and support enterprise integration solutions across IBM z/OS environments.
Configure and optimize integration middleware to support critical services.
Deliver secure, scalable integration solutions meeting requirements.
Collaborate with application teams and infrastructure for designs.
Implement API-based integrations between distributed systems and mainframes.
Produce technical documentation and operation procedures.
Support modernization and continuous improvement of integration platforms.
