Job summary

ISS is seeking a Front of House/mailroom assistant to join its facilities team in the United Kingdom. The role covers mail handling, post processing, room set-ups and occasional van duties for site deliveries.

You will deliver strong customer service, communicate clearly with colleagues, and handle confidential material with care. A full UK driving licence is required, and forklift training may be funded.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service experience in a corporate, facilities or professional environment.
• Excellent face-to-face and telephone communication skills.
• Comfortable with physical mail handling and goods movement.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process all incoming post, parcels and courier deliveries.
• Carry out security checks and X-ray screening of incoming items.
• Sort and distribute post to relevant departments.
• Scan correspondence into digital document management systems.
• Complete internal mail runs and handle sensitive documentation.
• Prepare outgoing post and parcels for dispatch using franking machines and Royal Mail services.
• Arrange and process UK and international courier shipments (DHL, FedEx).
• Support loading bay operations and assist with palletised deliveries.
