Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking a Machine Operator in Malmesbury to start ASAP. You will operate heavy machinery, inspect products to spec, and communicate across shifts to flag quality issues. Maintain a clean 5S production area and support collaborative team work.

Hours are Monday to Thursday 7.30am–4.30pm and Friday 7.30am–2.30pm. Competitive hourly rate and equal opportunity employer commitment.

Qualifications

• Experienced operating heavy industrial machinery.
• Self-motivated learner with ability to perform.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Good standard of English (written and spoken).
• Able to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
• Inspect production per Product Specification Sheets and ensure parts meet specs.
• Coordinate with shift personnel to flag quality/production issues.
• Identify defects and root causes with manufacturing/quality teams.
• Maintain cleanliness and 5S practices in the production area.
• Support team-oriented activities and collaborative work with colleagues.

Overview

Machine Operator required Malmesbury - Start ASAP

Responsibilities

• Operation of heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
• Inspect production for quality on assigned machines according to the Product Specification Sheets (PSS) and ensure parts meet specifications.
• Communicate with previous and following shift personnel to alert for quality and production related issues.
• Work with the manufacturing and quality personnel to identify suspected defects and identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Maintain cleanliness of the production area and general work area supporting a 5S environment.
• Support team-oriented activities and demonstrate collaborative team interaction.

Required Skills

• Previous experience operating industrial machinery
• Highly self-motivated to learn and perform
• Works with minimum supervision
• Good standard of English, both written and verbal
• Skills necessary to operate as a team player
• Verbal and written communication skills

Additional Info

Hours: 7.30am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 7.30am-2.30pm on Friday
