Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking a reliable Machine Operator for Malmesbury to start ASAP. You will operate heavy machinery safely, inspect outputs for quality, and coordinate with shift teams to address issues. The role emphasizes teamwork, problem solving, and maintaining a clean, organized production area.

Hours are Monday to Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm and Friday 7:30am-2:30pm, with a pay rate of £13.00–£13.50 per hour. Prior experience with industrial machinery and good English skills are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
• Inspect production on assigned machines to ensure parts meet Product Specification Sheets.
• Communicate with shift personnel to alert on quality and production issues.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to identify defects and root causes.
• Maintain cleanliness and 5S standards in the production area.
• Support team-oriented activities and collaborative work.

Machine Operator Required Malmesbury - Start ASAP

Daily duties

• Operation of heavy machinery safety and efficiently
• Inspect production for quality on assigned machines according to the Product Specification Sheets (PSS) and ensures parts meet specifications.
• Communicate with previous and following shift personnel to alert for quality and production related issues.
• Works with the manufacturing and quality personnel of the team to identify suspected defects and works with the team to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Maintains standards of cleanliness of the production area and general work area supporting a 5's environment.
• Supports team-oriented activities and demonstrates collaborative team interaction.

Required Skills

• Previous experience operating industrial machinery
• Highly self-motivated to learn and perform.
• Works with minimum supervision
• Good standard of English, both written and verbal
• Skills necessary to operate as a team player.
• Verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Info:

• Hours: 7.30am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 7.30am-2.30pm on Friday
• Rate: £13.00-13.50 p/hr
