Job summary
Leeds City College is seeking an Engineering Teacher with a specialism in Machining and CNC Engineering to join our Printworks Campus. Qualifications
- Professional teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
- Experience teaching engineering in further education.
- Ability to deliver across awarding bodies such as EAL and T levels.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment to students.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons and develop digital learning resources.
- Monitor learner progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Contribute to curriculum development, course review and quality assurance.
- Support student recruitment, induction and progression, promoting retention.
- Maintain up-to-date subject knowledge and uphold professional practice.
- Participate in college events and continuous improvement initiatives.
