Job summary

Direct Engineering specialise in the welding and manufacture of Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Mild Steel and a range of Non Ferrous Metal products. As an Apprentice Machinist you will follow operation sheets to progress parts through the factory and perform quality checks.

You will train toward Machining Technician Level 3 with support from the employer and Chesterfield College, earning wages while gaining hands-on experience in setting, running and improving machining processes.

Qualifications

  • Apprenticeship will involve training with the employer and Chesterfield College.
  • You will work towards Machining technician Level 3 with support from the employer and Learning Unlimited.

About The Role

Direct Engineering have an excellent opportunity for an apprentice to join their existing skilled workforce as an apprentice machinist. You will be following operation sheets, in order to ensure parts are progressed through the factory on time and carrying out quality checks.
