Job summary

Fulcrum Engineering in King’s Lynn area is seeking Machinery/Plant Electrical Fitters & Wirers for on-site and workshop wiring on industrial projects.

You will connect electrical cables to panels, wire control systems from engineering drawings, and test work. Certifications such as CSCS or ECS, IPAF/MEWP and 17th/18th edition (2391) are preferred.

Shift hours typically 0700–1630 or 1900, with occasional weekend work; work may extend to other local sites within 20–50 minutes travel.

Qualifications

• Install and wire electrical panels and control systems from engineering drawings.
• Work in factories on industrial wiring and cable tray installation.
• Experience with IPAF/MEWP preferred and safety harness/working at heights certs.

Responsibilities

• Fit and wire machinery/plant components to electrical panels according to drawings.
• Connect cables and test electrical systems on site and in workshop.
• Ensure safe operation and compliance with electrical standards.

Electrical Fitters - Industrial & Electrical Panel Wiring & Electrical Testing Techs

Working on machinery/plant build fitting & wiring work

Working in factories mainly on industrial type work, on the installation of electrical cable tray, ladder racking and electrical cables.

Connecting electrical cables to panels & wiring electrical control panel and other electrical systems from electrical engineering drawings. Checking work & testing work.

Working from IPAF or MEWP Scissor Lift/Cherry Picker

Certs & Cards Required = C&G or NVQ 3 17 th Ed ideally 18 th Ed & 2391 Electrical Engineering - Must have current CSCS or ECS Card, IPAF or MEWP Card, Harness Training & Working at Heights Certs

Hours of Work = Normally working 0700 to 1630 or 1900 Mon to Fri & Sat & Sun if required.

Plus other phase of work in the Work Shop & on site and on other local Sites & Sites such as Kings Lynn, Wisbech, Peterborough with work running from 6 to 13 + weeks subject to attendance, performance and work load.
