Job summary

Fulcrum Engineering is seeking Machinery/Plant Electrical Fitters & Wirers to work on industrial machinery build, fitting and wiring. You will install electrical cables, wire control panels and electrical systems from engineering drawings, and test work for quality and safety.

Typical hours are 07:00–16:30 or 19:00, Monday to Friday, with potential weekend work. Current CSCS/ECS, IPAF/MEWP, Harness and Working at Heights certifications are required, plus site travel within local areas.

Qualifications

• Certified electrical fitters with industrial wiring and testing experience.
• Experience reading engineering drawings for panel wiring and cable routing.
• Current safety cards (CSCS/ECS, IPAF/MEWP) and height safety training required.

Responsibilities

• Fit and wire electrical cables and control panels per drawings.
• Connect electrical systems and test wiring for correct operation.
• Work on machinery, on-site and in workshop, with cable trays and racking.
• Operate IPAF/MEWP as required on site.

Machinery/Plant Electrical Fitters & Wirers

Electrical Fitters - Industrial & Electrical Panel Wiring & Electrical Testing Techs

Working on machinery/plant build fitting & wiring work

Working in factories mainly on industrial type work, on the installation of electrical cable tray, ladder racking and electrical cables.

Connecting electrical cables to panels & wiring electrical control panel and other electrical systems from electrical engineering drawings. Checking work & testing work.

Working from IPAF or MEWP Scissor Lift/Cherry Picker

Certs & Cards Required = C&G or NVQ 3 17 th Ed ideally 18 th Ed & 2391 Electrical Engineering - Must have current CSCS or ECS Card, IPAF or MEWP Card, Harness Training & Working at Heights Certs

Hours of Work = Normally working 0700 to 1630 or 1900 Mon to Fri & Sat & Sun if required.

Plus other phase of work in the Work Shop & on site and on other local Sites & Sites with work running from 6 to 13 + weeks subject to attendance, performance and work load. Aim of Company f they can is to keep the same reliable workers on ongoing work on sites in local areas and sites in areas within 20 to 50 minutes travel time.
