Greencore Group plc in Northampton is seeking a production operative to support daily machinery start-up, oversee lines, and ensure high standards in a fast-moving FMCG environment. You will join a close-knit team, perform quality checks, and follow SSOW and compliance processes to maintain safety and product quality.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to accurate labeling, timely fault reporting, and continuous improvement of operating procedures within a leading UK food producer.

Qualifications

• Good numeracy and English language skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to work accurately and with attention to detail under pressure.
• Experience with safety practices and working in a production/warehouse environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Daily machinery start-up and continuous oversight.
• Report machinery faults as necessary.
• Ensure correct label usage to maintain high standards.
• Complete compliance checks with date and code verification.
• Adhere to compliance controls, risk assessments, and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW).
• Maintain a safe working environment for colleagues and oneself.
• Perform quality checks and promptly address quality or food safety issues.
• Collaborate within a close-knit production team.
