Job summary

Greencore is recruiting for a night shift role at our Manton Wood site in the UK. You will manage daily machinery start‑up, monitor quality and ensure label accuracy within a fast‑moving production environment.

Applicants should have good numeracy and English, be safety‑minded, and capable of working under pressure. Training is provided, with overtime opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

• Experience in FMCG/Warehouse is advantageous, though full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Daily machinery start-up and oversight
• Reporting machinery faults as necessary
• Ensuring correct label usage to maintain high standards
• Regular completion of compliance checks, including date and code verification
• Adherence to compliance controls, risk assessments, and Safe Systems of Work
• Ensuring a safe working environment for colleagues and oneself
• Performing relevant quality checks and promptly addressing quality or food safety issues
• Collaboration within a close-knit production team

Shift Pattern - Night Shift - Wednesday to SATURDAY 17:00 - 05:00

Rate of pay - £16.95 Per Hour, overtime paid at 1.25 hours after 48 hours

What we're looking for

• Good numeracy and English Language skills both verbal and written
• Can demonstrate working in a safe manner and do good H&S practices
• Accurate and pays attention to detail Ability to work well under pressure.
• Knowledge of and or experience of working in a FMCG/Warehouse would be advantageous, though full training is provided.
