Job summary

Precision People is recruiting a Machine Tool Fitter for a Leicester-based role in the CNC machine tool building industry. You will assemble and align multi-axis machines and work with Renishaw and autocollimators.

This position offers days shifts with early finish on Fridays, a basic salary up to £50k with OTE up to £60k, 33 days holiday, monthly bonuses, overtime, pension and free onsite parking. The ideal candidate has extensive CNC fitting experience.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in CNC machine tool fitting or CNC alignments from a maintenance or service background.
• Strong understanding and experience of complex mechanical alignments.
• The ability to work with minimal supervision and deliver high standards.

Responsibilities

• High-quality assembly of a wide variety of CNC machine tools.
• Aligning 5-axis CNC machines to tight tolerances.
• Utilising Renishaw and autocollimators.
• Using DTI's (Dial Test Indicator's).
• Conducting ball screw and linear rail alignments.
• Basic machine control commissioning.
• Day Shifts, Early Finish Friday.
