Job summary

The Best Connection are seeking a Machine Setter for a permanent role based in Corby. You will work 42 hours per week on a nights and days rotation, with overtime possible.

The role focuses on machine utilisation, efficiency, waste reduction and maintaining high production quality. You will be part of a well-established manufacturing client, with long-term career prospects, temp-to-perm opportunities, and a range of benefits including pension and extra perks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Machine Setter or within a manufacturing/production environment preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible approach to work and willingness to undertake training.
• Reliable with a positive attitude towards health, safety and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Delivering machine utilisation efficiencies across allocated production lines in line with company targets.
• Achieving material efficiency targets and minimising waste.
• Performing all duties to the required standards and within expected timescales.
• Maintaining high quality standards throughout the production process.
• Caring for and helping maintain tools, tooling and production equipment.
• Following all company policies, procedures, work instructions and operating standards.
• Completing accurate production and performance records each shift.
• Demonstrating flexibility to help cover production requirements and vacant shifts where needed.
• Undertaking training as required to support business needs and personal development.
• Communicating effectively and working collaboratively with colleagues across the business.

Machine Setter on behalf of our well-established manufacturing client based in

Corby. This is a

About the Role

Machine Setter - Main duties and responsibilities include:

• Delivering machine utilisation efficiencies across allocated production lines in line with company targets
