Job summary

The Recruitment Group in Loughborough is seeking a Machine Operative to join a well-established global company. You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, producing components for retail merchandising displays.

Responsibilities include operating and setting up woodworking machinery, using table saws, mitre saws, and bandsaws, and cutting plastic and wood. English fluency and a keen eye for detail are essential.

• Practical Health & Safety knowledge and SOPs.
• Keen eye for detail and ability to identify out-of-spec components.
• Competent in Maths and fluent in speaking/reading English.

At The Recruitment Group we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking Machine Operative for a well-established global company in Loughborough.

As a Machine Operative you will be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, specifically involved in producing components for retail merchandising displays.

Pay for the Saw Machinist:

£12.71 to £12.85 with enhanced overtime rates

Hours/Shifts:

Monday to Thursday 7:45 to 16:30 Friday 7:45 to 15:15

Overtime available by discussion

Loughborough

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operating and setting up woodworking machinery
• Operating table saws, mitre saws, bandsaws
• Cutting plastic and wood

Requirements and Skills:

• Previous experience working with woodworking machinery
• Posses practical Health & Safety knowledge an stadard operating procedures
• A keen eye for detail and ability to quickly identify any components out of specification
• Competent in Maths and fluent in speaking and reading English
• Have a positive, can-do attitude
• Willingness to continuously learn, keep up to date with new procedures and desire to share skills and knowledge.
