10 Recruitment Ltd in Leeds is recruiting a Machine Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business. You will operate production machinery, load materials, follow job sheets and ensure products meet high quality standards.

This role offers a Monday to Friday day shift (7:15am to 3:45pm), with an early finish on Fridays and ongoing training as you develop skills. A practical, hands-on mindset and ability to work well alone or in a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating, manufacturing or production experience.
• Good practical skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with machinery and production equipment.
• Able to follow job sheets and production instructions.
• Reliable, hardworking and keen to learn.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating production machinery safely and efficiently.
• Loading materials and components ready for production.
• Following job sheets, specifications and production instructions.
• Monitoring machine performance and making permitted adjustments.
• Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process.
• Identifying and reporting faults or production issues.
• Assembling components accurately to specification.
• Packing, picking and preparing finished products for dispatch.
• Supporting other production departments when required.
• Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe.
