Job summary

Tailored Recruitment Partners Limited seeks a Machine Operator for our busy manufacturing site in Sowerby Bridge. The role runs 6:00am–2:00pm, Monday–Thursday, with optional extra hours on Fridays, offering an early shift in a four-day core week.

You will operate, set up and monitor machinery, perform basic quality checks, and work to targets while keeping the area clean and safe. This is a hands-on production role in a manufacturing environment.

Tailored Recruitment Partners are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a busy manufacturing business based in Sowerby Bridge.

We are looking for the ideal candidate to work 6:00am - 2:00pm, Monday to Thursday, with the option to work additional hours on Fridays.

The Role

As a Machine Operator, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating machinery safely and efficiently
• Setting up and monitoring machines during production
• Loading and unloading materials
• Carrying out basic quality checks on finished products
• Identifying and reporting any faults or issues with machinery
• Ensuring production targets and quality standards are achieved
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area
• Following all company health and safety procedures
• Working as part of the wider production team

Hours & Pay

Early Shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm Monday to Thursday £13.00 per hour

There is also the option to work Fridays for candidates looking for additional hours.

What We're Looking For

Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience would be advantageous; however, candidates with relevant production experience and a willingness to learn will also be considered.

You will need to be:
