Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a Machine Operator to set and operate CNC Punch machines in Nottingham. You will load materials, adjust machines, and perform tooling changes with full in-house training provided.

The role offers day shifts, a stable team environment, and permissive overtime to maximise earnings. The position is based in Nottingham, with a competitive hourly rate and a generous OTE potential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC Punch machines.
• Willingness to learn and train on new equipment.
• Ability to load/unload materials and adjust tooling.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC Punch machines to manufacture sheet metal components.
• Load and unload materials and perform tooling changes.
• Work 38 hours per week on day shifts (Mon-Thu 7:30-16:00, Fri 6:00-14:00).
• Receive full in-house training on machines and core duties.

Are you a Machine Operator, or aspiring Machine Operator, looking to join a company offering a stable position, with a great work-life balance, alongside training and progression opportunities and unlimited optional overtime to drastically increase earnings?

In this role you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC Punch machines to manufacturing high-quality sheet metal components. You will load and unload materials, select and adjust machines, and perform tooling changes. You will receive full in-house training as you learn the machines and core duties.

This well-established company has been operating for over 35 years, manufacturing bespoke control panels for a wide range of industries. They offer a one stop-shop solution, and continue to grow as they increase their workload and investment into machinery and equipment. They are looking for someone to join their production team as they head up more projects.

This role would suit a Machine Operator, or aspiring Machine Operator, looking for a stable position within a reputable company offering a good work-life balance as part of a tight-knit collaborative team, with optional overtime opportunities to increase earnings.

The Role:
