Job summary

MTrec Ltd Technical is recruiting a machine operator for its renowned manufacturing client. The role offers 2- or 3-shift patterns and opportunities to develop skills within a leading, blue-chip environment.

You will operate various specialist machines, set up equipment, and meet strict quality standards while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. This is an on-site position with potential overtime; join a team focused on precision, efficiency and continuous improvement in a fast-moving

Qualifications

• A good eye for detail and pride in producing accurate, clean work.
• Reliable, punctual and happy to work as part of a small team.
• Comfortable on your feet and happy working in a hands-on and physical role.
• Able to follow written instructions and work to deadlines.
• Willing to learn, ask questions and take on new machines over time.
• Flexible on shifts and available for overtime when workloads are busy.

Responsibilities

• Operating a range of specialist machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
• Setting up, loading and running equipment in line with job requirements
• Carrying out a variety of processing, finishing and preparation tasks
• Checking completed work against specifications and quality standards, and reporting any issues
• Completing manual finishing, preparation and packing tasks ready for dispatch
• Keeping equipment and the work area clean, organised, safe and well maintained
• Working efficiently to deadlines and coordinating with colleagues across different teams
• Following procedures and maintaining consistent standards throughout the production process
