Job summary

MTrec Recruitment is seeking fit, reliable candidates for a prestigious automotive company in the Washington area. This role involves joining a rotating three-shift pattern and carrying out general duties across production and assembly lines.

You will operate machinery, perform quality checks, assist with despatch, and manage inventory under supervisor guidance. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

Responsibilities

• Daily meetings with the team leader or supervisor.
• Help prioritise workloads within the department / designated production area.
• Work in a fast-paced automotive environment.
• Run machinery and assist with the overall production process.
• Use hand tools to assemble components.
• Hand assemble automotive components.
• Quality inspection of a range of components.
• Manual handling with heavy lifting.
• Maintain health & safety standards at all times.
• Follow forklift usage rules where applicable.

The Pay You’ll Receive;

• £16.06 per hour – three shift

• Overtime 1 - £19.75 per hour

• Overtime 2 - £23.04 per hour

• Overtime 3 - £26.34 per hour

The Hours You’ll Work;

This position requires you to work a rotating three-shift pattern;

Three Shift

• 07.00 - 15.00 (Monday to Friday)

• 15.00 - 23.00 (Monday to Friday)

• 20.45 - 07.00 (Sunday Night) / 23.00 - 07.00 (Monday night to Thursday)

The Job You’ll Do;

We are looking for candidates with production / manufacturing experience. The role would see you carrying out general duties such as including machine operating, quality inspection, hand assembly, completing duties for despatch and inventory as designated by your supervisor.

• Should have working knowledge of all production departments and understand the systems used

• Maintain the company’s health & safety standards at all times

• To follow all legal and company requirements to the use of forklifts in the Warehouse if applicable
