Job summary

MTrec Limited is recruiting for a machine operator to join a growing manufacturing team in the Tees Valley area. The role offers two or three shift patterns and an immediate start for the right candidate.

You will operate specialist machinery, set up gear, perform finishing tasks and ensure quality and safety throughout production. You should be comfortable in a hands-on role, able to follow written instructions, and eager to learn new machines over time while working with a small, dedicated

Qualifications

• Good eye for detail and pride in producing accurate, clean work.
• Reliable, punctual and happy to work as part of a small team.
• Comfortable on your feet and happy working in a hands-on role.

Responsibilities

• Operating a range of specialist machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Setting up, loading and running equipment in line with job requirements.
• Carrying out a variety of processing, finishing and preparation tasks.
• Checking completed work against specifications and quality standards, and reporting any issues.
• Completing manual finishing, preparation and packing tasks ready for dispatch.
• Keeping equipment and the work area clean, organised, safe and well maintained.
• Working efficiently to deadlines and coordinating with colleagues across different teams.
• Following procedures and maintaining consistent standards throughout the production process.
