Job summary

MTrec Ltd in Shildon is recruiting for a well-established manufacturing firm. The role involves setting up and operating production machinery, performing tool changes, and checking quality at various stages to meet tight production targets.

A strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and teamwork is required, with on-site parking and pension available. Salary is £17.08 per hour on three rotating shifts, and a permanent-contract path is possible for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a range of production machinery.
• Perform tool changes to meet production requirements.
• Check at various stages, take samples, feed machines/lines.
• Complete paperwork and verify each production stage.
• Carry out routine maintenance or report issues to the responsible person.
• Perform general labouring duties in a factory environment.
• Keep own area clean and tidy as part of housekeeping.
• Meet strict daily targets and deadlines set by the team leader.

The Hours You’ll Work;

• 3 x shift Pattern
• 06.00am till 14.00pm / 14.00pm till 22.00pm / 22.00pm till 06.00am (start times vary depending on the days)

The Pay You’ll Receive;

• £17.08 per hour on all 3 shifts

• MTrec are currently recruiting for a well-established manufacturing firm based in the Shildon area.

The Job You’ll Do;

• Setting up and operating a range of production machinery.
• Completed tool changes when needed to meet the production requirements.
• Checking at various stages of the process, taking samples, feeding machines / lines.
• Completing paperwork, making sure each stage of production has been met.
• Carrying out routine maintenance on machines, fixing any issues if possible or reporting them to the correct person.
• Carrying out general labouring duties within a factory environment.
• General housekeeping duties carried out, making sure own area is kept clean and tidy.
• Strict daily targets and deadlines, which are monitored by team leader.
