Job summary

MTrec Technical are recruiting a permanent Manufacturing Technician to join their engineering site in Scotland. The role involves assisting with small engineering projects and keeping production running smoothly on a day shift.

You will apply lubricants, monitor fluids and plant equipment, and support maintenance schedules while liaising with customers and following 5S and safety procedures. A manufacturing background and IT skills are important.

Qualifications

• Background in manufacturing or engineering sectors.
• Strong communication skills and customer service focus.
• Team oriented with collaborative project experience.
• Proficient with IT systems used in maintenance and operations.
• Health & Safety conscious and standards-driven.

Responsibilities

• Manage and action all activities required of the on-site service.
• Apply and change lubricants and fluids to agreed planned maintenance schedules.
• Condition monitoring and control of fluids and plant equipment, and reporting using our company in-house system.
• Manage waste streams to safe off-site disposal.
• Customer liaison and assisting in meetings.
• Follow strictly practices and procedures laid down including 5s and Health & Safety.

• You will be IT literate and confident in the use of various systems.
• Health and Safety conscious, with a strong focus on maintaining the highest standards within the workplace.
