Job summary

Winner Recruitment are looking for Machine Operatives for one of our clients based in Aston in Birmingham. This is a temporary to possibly permanent role with full time day shift hours. Working on a fast paced production line and operating bespoke machinery, you will load the machine, mind it and help assemble parts.

The role requires good English, reliability and a strong team ethic. Pay is £12.71 per hour, with Monday–Thursday 07:00–17:00 and Friday 06:00–12:30; overtime may be required at

Qualifications

• Previous factory experience is preferred.
• Experience operating machines on a production line is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and quality consciousness.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production line machinery.
• Follow client-specific instructions and requirements.
• Load machines and perform machine minding.
• Assemble parts and products.
• Quality check and inspect parts.
• Assist with general factory duties.

MACHINE OPERATIVE

Monday - Thursday 07.00am - 5.00pm and Friday 6.00am - 12.30

Duties Will Include:

• Working on a fast paced production line
• Following instructions specific to client needs and requirements
• Operating bespoke machinery
• Loading the machine and Machine minding
• Assembling Parts and products
• Quality Checking and inspecting Parts
• Any other general factory duties

Experience and skills required for this role include:

• Previous experience of working in a factory or shopfloor
• Minimum of 2 years Experience in machine operating
• Be Self-motivated and eager to learn
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail

Attributes needed for this role:

• Be a strong team player who can work well under pressure,
• Be able to meet deadlines and prioritise your workload effectively
• Have a strong work ethic
• A good understanding of English both written and spoken
