Job summary

Woodlands Home & Garden Group is seeking a reliable Sideloader Driver – Timber Yard Operative in Rodley, Leeds. The role offers a permanent, full-time contract with a Monday–Friday pattern from 9:30am to 6:00pm (possible 6am start).

Salary starts at £13.00 per hour, with higher rates for licensed drivers and an opportunity for an annual bonus. The candidate will move timber between yard areas, load/unload vehicles, and operate sideloaders or related machinery with training provided.

• Valid Sideloader or Combilift licence.
• Reliable and safety-focused.
• Comfortable working in a busy, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Move timber between the yard, sawmill and production areas.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.

Work Pattern: Monday to Friday 9:30am to 6:00pm (potential for 6am to 2:30pm)

KEY TASKS

• Moving timber between the yard, sawmill and production areas

• Operating sideloaders, forklifts or combilifts (training provided if needed)
