Job summary

Woodlands Home & Garden Group in Rodley, Leeds is seeking a motivated timber production assistant to keep production flowing by supplying materials and assisting milling. You’ll support day-to-day site operations and work as part of a team, with a bonus for a Forklift licence.

You’ll start ASAP, with pay from £12.80 per hour, 28 days holiday, annual bonus, and ongoing training. The role offers overtime after 40 hours and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in timber processing or manufacturing preferred.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Forklift licence a bonus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supply timber materials across departments.
• Assist with milling timber to support production operatives.
• Follow daily production lists and meet targets.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures.
• Carry out additional tasks to support wider site operations.
