Woodlands Home and Garden Group is seeking a Machine Operative to join the Cabins team at our Bradford site, working on the AMD Notching Machine. The role focuses on machine operation, loading timber, and ensuring quality while meeting production targets.
Full training will be provided by experienced operators. A mechanically minded attitude and reliable work ethic are essential for success in a busy manufacturing environment offering stable hours and opportunities for development.
Work Pattern: Monday to Friday 6:00AM to 2:30PM
Job Type: Permanent, full-time
Salary: Starting at £12.80/hr but negotiable depending on experience

We are currently looking for a Machine Operative to join our Cabins team working on our AMD Notching Machine. The machine and its operation plays an integral function in the production of our log cabins. We are ideally looking for someone who is mechanically minded, eager to learn, and able to develop a good understanding of how the machine operates. The role requires someone who can recognise when something doesn't sound or feel right and react quickly to prevent issues and downtime.
The successful candidate will receive full training from our experienced operators. Key tasks include operating and programming the AMD Notching Machine, loading timber, carrying out quality checks and working safely to production targets.
