Job summary

Greencore is offering a night shift role at Manton Wood (UK) with 17:00–05:00 hours, starting midweek to Saturday. The role focuses on daily machinery oversight, label accuracy and stringent safety and quality checks within a fast-paced FMCG production environment.

Salary is £16.95 per hour with overtime pay after 48 hours. Training is provided, and a supportive team culture encourages development and progression within Greencore.

Qualifications

• Good numeracy and English language skills (verbal and written).
• Safety-minded with strong H&S practices.
• Attention to detail; ability to work under pressure.
• Experience in FMCG/Warehouse advantageous; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Daily machinery start-up and continuous oversight.
• Reporting machinery faults as necessary.
• Ensuring correct label usage to maintain high standards.
• Regular completion of compliance checks, including date and code verification.
• Adherence to compliance controls, risk assessments, and Safe Systems of Work.
• Ensuring a safe working environment for colleagues and oneself.
• Performing relevant quality checks and promptly addressing quality or food safety issues.
• Collaboration within a close-knit production team.

Shift Pattern - Night Shift - Wednesday to SATURDAY 17:00 - 05:00

Rate of pay - £16.95 Per Hour, overtime paid at 1.25 hours after 48 hours

What you'll be doing

What we’re looking for

• Good numeracy and English Language skills both verbal and written
• Can demonstrate working in a safe manner and do good H &S practices
• Accurate and pays attention to detail Ability to work well under pressure.
• Knowledge of and or experience of working in a FMCG/Warehouse would be advantageous, though full training is provided.
