Job summary

Greencore Group in Warrington is recruiting for a warehouse operative on a 4 on/4 off shift, 06:00 – 17:10. You will be a key member of the warehouse team, ensuring high-quality service to customers in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves physical tasks such as pushing, pulling and lifting, working in a chilled environment, and following safety and hygiene procedures. Prior similar-role experience and basic IT skills are helpful.

Qualifications

• Good level of English and Maths required.
• Mechanical literacy and health & safety awareness are essential.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Attention to detail and a right-first-time approach are important.
• Ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Quality monitoring: collect, log and maintain records.
• Work as part of a team in a chilled, noisy environment.
• Use initiative and escalate issues appropriately.
• Follow instructions and complete compliance checks.
• Stand for long periods and wear PPE while operating manufacturing equipment.

What you'll be doing

Working within an exciting and fast paced environment, you will be a key member of our warehouse team and will ensure the service we provide to our customer is of exceptional quality. The role can be physically demanding with a good amount of pushing, pulling and lifting involved.

Task will involve:

• Quality monitoring process including collecting, logging, and keeping accurate record
• Work as part of a team in a chilled and noisy environment
• Using initiative for problem solving, escalating appropriately
• You will be required to follow instructions
• Work unsupervised, completing compliance checks
• Have a keen eye for detail, and in order to ensure a right first-time approach
• Working with manufacturing equipment
• This role involves standing for long periods of time, working in chilled environment and wear personal protective equipment
