Job summary

Staffline is recruiting a Machine Operative in Market Drayton. You will work on rotating shifts, 4 on 4 off, with duties including operating ovens and pastry equipment, ensuring correct ingredients are used and pastry quality meets standards. Previous machine operative experience and GMP familiarity are preferred.

The role offers day and night shift pay with on-site parking, canteen, and full training. Staffline provides onsite support and opportunities for overtime.

Job description

Do you have previous machine operative experience and good communication skills? If so, work as a Machine Operative for our client, a main manufacturer of great quality, tasty and affordable foods in Market Drayton!

The rate of pay is:

• Days £13.77 or £14.11 per hour, depending on experience.
• Nights £15.77 or £16.16 per hour, depending on experience.

This is a full-time role working rotating shifts, 4 on 4 off, and the hours of work are:

• 6am to 6pm
• 6pm to 6am

Your Time at Work

As a Machine Operative you will be responsible for:

• Control large travelling and rack ovens
• Operating machines - Dicing, Mixing, Pastry, Sous Vide Tanks and Giusti
• Ensuring that correct ingredient's are used
• Ensuring pastry is to the right standard
