Job summary

Stateside Foods Ltd in Westhoughton, United Kingdom, is seeking a Machine Operative for a permanent role in our Flow Wrap Department. The role runs Monday to Friday, 13:45 to 22:00, and focuses on maintaining GMP and production standards.

You will set up machinery, operate various machines, report issues, carry out basic repairs, train colleagues, and support the Line Leader in their absence. Food production experience is preferred but not essential, and good teamwork is required.

Job description

We have a permanetopportunity within our Flow Wrap Department for a Machine Operative.

The role will be working Monday to Friday 13.45 to 22.00.

The successful candidate will be responsible for adhering to the correct production standards which are to include good manufacturing practices.

• Step up in the absence of the Line Leader

• Adhere to the company’s H&S policies and procedures
• Adhere to the company’s Hygiene policies and procedures.

Ideally candidates will have worked within a similar role with the ability to work as part of a team.

Candidates should have good communication skills with the ability to work in a chilled fast paced environment.

Food production experience is preferred however not essential.
