Job summary

T&K Associates currently seeks a Machine Operative to join our client in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a temporary to permanent basis. Training will be provided, and the candidate should have some Machine Operative knowledge to support PCB production.

The role offers weekly rotating shifts with a 6am–2pm morning slot and a 2pm–10:45pm/7pm Friday shift. A competitive hourly rate of £14.24 plus benefits is provided, with overtime optional and a route to progression.

Qualifications

• Previous experience isn't required; training provided.
• Must have some Machine Operative knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Loading and operating a machine with some programming elements.
• Learning procedures to build a printed circuit board.
• Building PCB in accordance with IPC-610 criteria.
• Preparing and running jobs on the SMT machinery.
• Preparing components so they can be correctly used on the SMT line.
• Operate and program solder paste print technologies (SPI).
• Relay build issues and process related concerns to the production engineers.

Machine Operative Job Details & Benefits:

Machine Operative Duties:

• Loading and operating a machine with some programming elements
• Learning all relevant procedures to be competent enough to build a printed circuit board
• Building PCB in accordance with IPC-610 criteria
• Preparing and running jobs on the SMT machinery
• Preparing components so they can be correctly used on the SMT line
• Operate and program solder paste print technologies (SPI)
• Relay build issues and process related concerns to the production engineers

Machine Operative Person Specification:

• Must have previous Machine Operating experience

• Ability to work under pressure and complete varied duties to meet deadlines
