Job summary

Proactive Global is recruiting a machine maintenance technician for a Reading-based global manufacturing site. You will fault-find, set machines, clean, perform Planned Preventative Maintenance and installations, and provide mechanical support during breakdowns to minimise downtime.

You will work in an automated environment with a strong Health and Safety mindset, manage downtime and priorities, and collaborate with teams to sustain efficient operations.

Proactive are working with a global manufacturing company in Reading

We are looking to recruit a machine Maintainers, working on a rotating shift pattern. The role will require fault finding, machine setting, machine cleaning, Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and installations, and providing mechanical support during breakdowns as required.

All work must be completed effectively, with machine downtime being kept to a minimum, and within target expectations, whilst adhering to current Health and Safety Regulations and best practice.
