Job summary

Proactive Technical Limited in Reading is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support automated manufacturing equipment on a rotating 4-on/4-off shift pattern.

The role involves fault finding, machine setting, cleaning, planned preventive maintenance, installations and providing mechanical support during breakdowns, all while minimising downtime and complying with Health & Safety regulations.

A strong teamwork ethic and a proactive approach are essential.

Job description

Proactive are working with a global manufacturing company in Reading

We are looking to recruit a machine Maintainers, working on a rotating shift pattern. The role will require fault finding, machine setting, machine cleaning, Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and installations, and providing mechanical support during breakdowns as required.
All work must be completed effectively, with machine downtime being kept to a minimum, and within target expectations, whilst adhering to current Health and Safety Regulations and best practice.

• 4 on, 4 off shift pattern
• 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 nights off
• 7:00am - 19:30pm and 19:00pm - 7:30am
