FM Conway is looking for a M5 Traffic Management Operative to join our Traffic Light division based at our Egham depot in Surrey. This is a full-time, permanent position with day or night shifts available.

As an M5 Traffic Management Operative, you will work as part of a team to carry out services including setting up temporary traffic lights, installing, maintaining, and removing traffic management systems. Key responsibilities include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights
• Assisting with traffic diversions
• Maintaining and removing traffic lights within required timeframes
• Managing traffic flow at temporary lights, ensuring public compliance
• Working closely with management and crew, following instructions
• Ensuring site safety and conducting on-site assessments
• Taking appropriate action during emergencies and notifying relevant personnel
• Being on call out of hours on a rota basis if required

Required skills and experience:

• Knowledge of traffic management operations
• Valid CSCS card
• Traffic management tickets such as Lantra, M1/2, M5, M6, 12AB Operatives, LTMO / TMF
• Ability to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings
• Awareness of and compliance with RAMS
