Job summary

Arc IT Recruitment Limited is partnering with a well-established financial services organisation in Greater London to hire an M365 SME / Modern Workplace Application Lead. You’ll be the go-to technology partner for the business, focused on getting the most out of Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform.

You’ll own the M365 stack, advise on SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive, drive user adoption, manage applications through their lifecycle, and align with group IT standards while supporting

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience owning or leading Microsoft 365 in a business-facing role, including SharePoint Online and Teams.
• Practical Power Platform experience and ability to translate loosely defined needs into working solutions.
• Experience driving user adoption, running projects, and gathering requirements.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the business's subject matter expert for Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive.
• Owning the Power Platform locally, supporting automation and helping the business build smarter ways of working.
• Building strong relationships across the business and spotting where technology can make things simpler and more efficient.
• Acting as an escalation point for IT issues that need more technical or business context than standard support can offer.
• Managing applications through their full lifecycle, from first idea to decommission, including documentation and representing the business at IT governance forums.
• Running licence reviews to ensure the business isn’t paying for more or less than needed.
• Stepping into project manager and business analyst roles on agreed projects, ensuring solutions meet business needs and security standards.
• Working with group IT and technology teams in other locations to keep everything aligned to group standards.

What you'll be doing

• Acting as the business's subject matter expert for Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive, and advising on how to use these tools well
• Owning the Power Platform locally, supporting automation and helping the business build smarter ways of working

What you'll bring

• Hands-on experience owning or leading Microsoft 365 in a business-facing role, ideally including SharePoint Online and Teams rollouts
• Practical Power Platform experience
• A track record of working closely with business users and turning loosely defined needs into working solutions
• Experience of user adoption and getting people to actually use new tools
• Comfort running projects and gathering requirements
• Financial services or other regulated or professional services experience is a plus, though not essential
