Job summary

Nigel Wright Group is seeking an experienced Modern Workplace Consultant to lead Microsoft 365 onboarding and security projects for SME customers. You will work hands-on with Intune, Entra ID, Conditional Access, Defender, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and Teams, guiding deployments from initial engagement to successful completion.

The role emphasizes customer-facing delivery, cross-team collaboration, and mentoring junior staff, with opportunities to advance in modern cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering Microsoft 365 implementation and onboarding projects.
• Hands-on experience with Intune, Conditional Access, Defender, Entra ID and device management.
• Experience securing and managing Microsoft 365 environments.
• Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management.
• Broad IT infrastructure understanding including Windows Server, Active Directory, networking.

Responsibilities

• Lead Microsoft 365 onboarding and implementation projects for customers.

About the Role:

I am looking for an experienced Modern Workplace Consultant to join a growing technology services business delivering Microsoft 365-focused projects for SME customers.

This is a hands‑on, customer-facing role where you'll lead the delivery of Microsoft 365 security, device management and onboarding projects, helping organisations modernise their workplace environments while improving security, compliance and user experience.

Working alongside a junior engineer and wider technical team, you'll take ownership of project delivery from initial client engagement through to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Microsoft 365 onboarding and implementation projects for customers.
• Deliver Microsoft 365 security and device management solutions aligned to industry best practice.
• Configure and implement:

Desirable

• Experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
• Exposure to Azure migrations and cloud infrastructure projects.
• Microsoft certifications relevant to Modern Workplace technologies.
