Overview

Two M365 Engineers (x2) - DV Cleared | Location: Hybrid - Milton Keynes - (DV clearance required) | Contract Type: Contract - OUTSIDE IR35 | Clearance: Developed Vetting (DV) required

We are seeking two experienced M365 Engineers to join a secure technology operations team, providing advanced support and administration across the full Microsoft 365 product suite.

The Role

As an M365 Engineer, you will play a key part in managing, configuring, and optimising the organisation's M365 tenant, as well as providing 2nd and 3rd line support for a wide range of Microsoft services and Power Platform applications.

You will work on incident resolution, configuration changes, upgrades, and security improvements, liaising directly with Microsoft where required to resolve complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Administration and configuration of M365 production tenant.
• Support and maintenance of M365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, OneNote, Viva Engage, Forms, Stream, Intune, Entra, Purview, and Microsoft Defender.
• Power Platform support, including Power Apps, Power BI, and PowerShell scripting.
• Investigation and resolution of incidents, including liaison with Microsoft support.
• Fulfilment of change requests and configuration activities in line with agreed governance processes.
• Monitoring updates and ensuring tenant compliance with evergreen processes.
• Identifying recurring issues, assessing risks, and implementing preventative measures.

What We're Looking For

• Active DV clearance (essential).
• Strong experience supporting and administering Microsoft 365 environments.
• Solid knowledge of Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and Power Platform.
• Skills in PowerShell scripting, Intune, Entra, and Microsoft security tools.
• Ability to manage incidents, resolve technical problems, and handle escalations to Microsoft.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
