Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Essex Projects Division, office-based in Billericay. The role suits junior to intermediate QS professionals looking to develop in a long-established mechanical contracting environment.

You will support contractual and financial management on M&E projects across Commercial and Healthcare sites, preparing payment applications, cashflows, P&L reports and cost estimates, with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and numerical and analytical skills.
• Understanding of construction/M&E contracts and procurement processes.
• Be able to manage applications, valuations, variations, subcontract accounts, CVRs and final accounts.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Desirable to hold relevant QS qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support contractual and financial management on M&E projects across Commercial & Healthcare sites.
• Prepare Payment Applications, Cashflows, Monthly P&L Reports, and Cost Estimates.
• Be able to manage applications, valuations, variations, subcontract accounts, CVRs and final accounts.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely reporting.
