M&E Quantity Surveyor

Location: Northamptonshire (Hybrid)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a Tier 1 contractor in Northamptonshire as an M&E Quantity Surveyor.

As the M&E Quantity Surveyor, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and sectors for a successful and established client.

This contractor has a proven track record of developing staff, securing repeat business, and delivering successful projects, empowering their employees to strive for excellence.

Responsibilities:

1. Preparing cost estimates and budgets
2. Handling subcontractor enquiries and tender reviews
3. Managing valuations, project cash flows, and turnover forecasts, including monthly cost reports and progress records
4. Driving commercial initiatives and producing margin improvement plans
5. Cost planning and control
6. Final account settlement

It is highly desirable that the candidate has an understanding of all main forms of contract such as JCT and NEC.
