Job summary

Kenna Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor for exciting fit out and refurbishment projects in Central London. You will manage M&E packages, lead subcontractor negotiations and oversee procurement, variations and final accounts on high-value schemes.

The role requires strong M&E QS experience, main contracting background and a track record on projects £10m+ within a fast-paced London environment. Excellent commercial awareness will be essential.

Qualifications

• Strong M&E commercial / quantity surveying experience.
• Experience working on projects of £10m+.
• Previous main contracting experience.
• Good understanding of M&E subcontract packages.
• Strong subcontractor management and negotiation skills.
• Experience with variations, valuations, forecasting and final accounts.
• Excellent communication and commercial awareness.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Central London project environment.

M&E Quantity Surveyor

Central London | Fit Out & Refurbishment | £10m-£45m Projects

We are working with a leading fit out and refurbishment main contractor who are looking to strengthen their commercial team with an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor.

The business delivers high-value, technically complex fit out and refurbishment projects across Central London, typically ranging from £10m to £45m in value. They have an excellent reputation within the sector and a strong pipeline of upcoming projects.

The Role

As an M&E Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for the mechanical and electrical packages across major fit out and refurbishment projects.

You will work closely with the project, commercial and procurement teams, as well as specialist M&E subcontractors, to ensure packages are commercially controlled and delivered successfully.

Key responsibilities include:

About You

We are keen to speak with M&E Quantity Surveyors who have experience working for main contractors, ideally within the fit out, refurbishment or high-end commercial interiors sector.
