Job summary

Bimplus in Yorkshire is seeking a Mechanical or Electrical Project Manager to join a leading build main contractor on a North Yorkshire project. This long-term contract spans from design through to completion around Oct/Nov 2027, with you supporting delivery and coordinating building services on site.

You will lead input into design and technical specification, manage M&E subcontractors, review progress in meetings, and oversee commissioning and handover documentation.

Qualifications

• Qualified engineer in mechanical or electrical discipline.
• Ability to coordinate both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Strong communication across all project levels.
• Proactive and issue-spotting mindset.

Responsibilities

• Input into design and technical specifications.
• Coordinate building services subcontractors on site.
• Review progress and attend progress meetings.
• Coordinate utilities, sprinklers, M&E, PV, security and CCTV packages.
• Manage handover through commissioning and OM manual documentation.
