NG Bailey Group is seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager to join the Facilities Services team in the Cambridge region. You will deliver multiple M&E projects from survey through handover, ensuring safety, timeliness, budget adherence and customer satisfaction.

You will lead delivery plans, manage stakeholders, procurement and programmes, and provide technical leadership across M&E disciplines while promoting profitability and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Industry-recognised trade or professional qualification.
• Proven experience managing multiple M&E projects.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, forms of contract and CDM regulations.
• Knowledge and practical application of RIBA project stages.
• Experience managing direct labour, subcontractors and supply chain partners.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to deliver profitable outcomes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management systems.
• Ability to prepare accurate reports, project documentation and tender submissions.

Responsabilités

• Managing multiple M&E projects of varying size and complexity, valued between £10,000 and £3 million.
• Developing and overseeing project delivery plans to ensure works are completed on time, on budget and to quality standards.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Leading projects through RIBA stages from brief to handover and close-out.
• Ensuring SHEQ compliance and promoting a safety-first culture across activities.
• Managing procurement, subcontractor appointments and project programmes.
• Reviewing RAMS and ensuring statutory and client compliance.
• Providing technical leadership across M&E disciplines and acting as Principal Contractor when required.
• Surveying future works opportunities and producing competitive tender submissions.
• Supporting bid teams and presenting to prospective clients.
• Setting objectives and performance targets for delivery teams to achieve excellence.
