Job summary

Kier Group in Waterbeach, Cambridge, is seeking a Building Services Manager to provide expert technical guidance across multi-project delivery from tender to handover.

You will lead on M&E design and installations, coordinate with design teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure quality and compliance of installations, commissioning, and as-built manuals.

The role requires SMSTS, CSCS and a full driving licence, with strong experience in a main contracting environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of M&E design and installations and HVAC systems.
• Degree-level qualification in Mechanical or Electrical discipline (or equivalent).
• Experience in main contracting environments managing specialist sub-contractors.
• Experience across full lifecycle from tender through handover to delivery.
• SMSTS 5 Day Cert, CSCS Card and a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with selection of sub-contractors and reviewing technical submittals for bids.
• Coordinate M&E packages with design teams and site services.
• Check installation quality by sub-contractors against design/specifications.
• Manage commissioning and ensure as-built and maintenance manuals are compliant.
• Provide technical advice and support to project teams during build.
